:60s to Score - Terms & Conditions Official Rules
Important: These rules include provisions that limit our liability and that may require that any dispute related to this contest be resolved individually by way of arbitration and not by way of class action or court proceeding. See paragraph 10 for more information. Contest ends May 19, 2025.
1. Contest Sponsor. This contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by SkipTheDishes Restaurant Services Inc., 410-242 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0T8 (referred to as “we”, “our”, “us”, “Skip”, or “SkipTheDishes” in these rules).
2. Eligibility. You are eligible to enter this Contest if you are ordinarily resident in Canada (including Quebec) and are over the age of majority in your province of residence, as long as neither you, any person you live with, or any member of your immediate family (spouse, common-law partner, parent, child, or sibling) is an employee, officer, director, agent or representative of (a) the National Hockey League (“NHL”), its member clubs, NHL Enterprises, L.P., NHL Enterprises Canada, L.P., NHL Enterprises B.V., NHL Interactive CyberEnterprises, LLC (the foregoing NHL entities, collectively the “NHL Entities”), or (b) any of the aforementioned parties’ affiliates or advertising or promotion agencies. Additional eligibility requirements apply as set out below under “3. Participation”.
3. Participation. Participation in this Contest is available to individual consumers, with or without a purchase (a “Consumer Entrant”). Each Consumer Entrant must be a natural person (i.e., an individual, not a corporation). In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a Consumer Entrant, the Consumer Entrant will be deemed to be the authorized holder of the SkipTheDishes account at the time the entry was submitted, in the case of an Order Entry (as further defined below), or the individual identified in a Mail-in Entry (as further defined below), in the case of a Mail-in Entry.
4. Consumer Entry. No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. The route as noted below as (a) (“Order Entry”) is only available to selected customers . Route (b) (“Mail-in Entry”) as described below is available to all Consumer Entrants. Void where prohibited. To enter as a Consumer Entrant, either: (a) Order Entry Mechanics: Upon ordering on a 2025 Stanley Cup® Playoffs game day, customers will be presented with a pop-up whereby they are prompted to accept the Terms & Conditions of the campaign and Skip’s Privacy Statement. Customers who do not intend to play can simply close the pop-up. Upon accepting, participants can choose their preferred 2025 Stanley Cup® Playoffs game that will be taking place that evening. When selected, they will be allocated a minute between 20:00 - 00:00 minutes between periods 1, 2, and 3 during the game, and the first minute is from 19:59 seconds to 19:00 seconds. Where for instance minute 2 represents 18:59 - 18:00. If a goal is scored by either team in that minute, based on Opta Stats platform then the participant will be entitled to a Skip Voucher, as defined below. Participants may select matches up to 10 minutes before their start. For example, matches starting at 17:30 p.m. may be selected until 17:20 p.m. and matches starting at 20:00PM can be selected until 19:50 p.m.. Subject to the entry limits described below under “Entry Limit”, each order that we receive in accordance with the requirements of this section and the rest of these rules constitutes an “Order Entry”. We reserve the right to disqualify Order Entries if the associated order is cancelled, not paid in full, or is not completed; or (b) handwrite (i) your name, (ii) your complete mailing address, (iii) your email address associated with participants Skip account, (iv) a statement confirming whether you are of the age of majority in the province where you reside, and (v) a unique and original essay of between fifty (50) to one hundred (100) words telling us how SkipTheDishes would form part of your ideal 2025 Stanley Cup® Playoff plans, on a plain piece of white paper, and place in a sealed mailable envelope with no other contents, and mail (with sufficient postage) to SkipTheDishes, 7th Floor, 351 King St. E, Toronto, ON M5A 2W4, to the attention of “:60s to Score”. Subject to the entry limits described below under “Entry Limit”, each order that we receive in accordance with the requirements of this section and the rest of these rules constitutes a “Mail-in Entry”.
Mail-in Entries and any accompanying materials are governed by SkipTheDishes’ Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and will be deemed to constitute User Content submitted to the Skip platform for the purposes of the Terms of Service. By submitting a Mail-in Entry, you grant us a licence to use it in accordance with our Terms of Service. Mail-in Entry (or other entries) that contain objectionable content or that otherwise violate our Terms of Service may be disqualified by us in our sole discretion. Please review the portions of our Terms of Service that govern User Content to understand what we consider objectionable content. We are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, mutilated, corrupted, misdirected, postage-due, or otherwise unusable Mail-in Entry requests. Each Mail-in Entry must be mailed in a separate, postage-paid envelope. Any personal information that you provide to us in your Mail-in Entry in fulfillment of the requirements of this paragraph will be used solely for the purpose of properly administering this Contest, including verifying the authenticity and eligibility of your Mail-in Entry and fulfilling your prize if you become a Winner (as defined below), in compliance with our Privacy Policy. By entering, you consent to that use.
5. Entry Limit. Order Entries, and Mail-in Entries, may be collectively referred to as “Entries” and each an “Entry”. There is no limit for the number of entries per day, however each person can only win once per day.
6. Contest Period. The Contest is open from April 19, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (“PDT”) until May 19, 2025 at 11:59:59 p.m. PDT. Order Entries must be placed for delivery or pick-up during dates and times stated in-app and be received by us during the Contest Period. Mail-in Entries must be postmarked during the Contest Period and received by us no later than 11:30 a.m. PDT on May 21, 2025. Check with Canada Post to ensure that your Mail-in Entry is properly postmarked.
7. In app Winners - Consumer Entrants. This is a game of chance Order Entry Mechanics: Upon ordering on a 2025 Stanley Cup® Playoffs game day, customers will be presented with a pop-up whereby they are prompted to accept the Terms & Conditions of the campaign and Skip’s Privacy Statement, and to complete a Skill-testing question. Customers who do not intend to play can simply close the pop-up. Upon accepting, Participants can choose their preferred 2025 Stanley Cup® Playoffs game that will be taking place that evening. When selected, they will be allocated a minute between 20:00 - 00:00 minutes between periods 1, 2, and 3 during the game, and the first minute is from 19:59 seconds to 19:00 seconds. If a goal is scored by either team in that minute, then the participant will be entitled to a 25$ Skip Voucher. Participants may select games up to 10 minutes before their start. Selection of Winner for mail in Entry - Consumer Entrants. On May 22, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) PDT, at 351 King St. E in Toronto, we will combine all Mail-in Entries into a single pool and draw one (1) Entry from that pool for every 60 submissions (1/60 chance of winning, one draw will be done even if the total Mail Entries are less than 60) (the “Selected Consumer Entry”) to determine a “Selected Consumer Entrant”. We will contact the Selected Consumer Entrant at the email address indicated in their Mail-in Entry form (for Mail-in Entries) and ask them to solve a mathematical skill-testing question, return a signed declaration of eligibility including a liability and publicity release (a “Declaration and Release”) if the Selected Consumer Entrant successfully solves the question, returns the signed Declaration and Release, provides us with all information that we require as set out in 4 (b) above, and has complied with these rules, we will declare them a winner (the “Winner”). If we do not receive a response from the Selected Consumer Entrant including a correct answer to the skill-testing question, a signed Declaration and Release, and the other information set out above within twenty-four (24) hours from our first attempt at contacting them, we may disqualify the Selected Consumer Entrant from the Contest and draw a separate new Entry to designate a new Selected Consumer Entrant, repeating this process (for two (2) further times, as explained below) as needed until we have declared a single Winner in accordance with this section. If we need to re-draw the Selected Consumer Entrant, we may shorten the response time to less than twenty-four (24) hours, as required to ensure that we can award the prize in time. If we are unable to declare a Winner after attempting to contact three (3) Selected Consumer Entrants in accordance with this section, we may decide not to select a Winner and are entitled to dispose of the prize that was originally intended for the Winner as we may determine at our sole discretion.
8. Prize. Approximate value of the overall prize will be $25. The awarded prizes are: A $25 CND Voucher (“Skip Voucher”).Valid on orders with a food and beverage subtotal of $25 or more before taxes, tips and fees. As defined in these Terms & Conditions, the voucher will be received in the form of a Skip Voucher to be emailed to the email address associated with the participants Skip account and it is the responsibility of the participant to add the Skip Voucher to their own account of the Participant following the instructions as indicated below. The Winner who meets the eligibility criteria in Clause 2 and receives a minute in which a goal is scored will receive their prize via eligible Skip Marketing Channels and have until May 31st, 2025 to use their Skip Voucher. The Skip voucher will be awarded to the winning participant within forty-eighth (48) hours. The winning participant will receive an email with a Voucher code. The winning participant can add the account credit by entering the voucher code in their Skip App and by clicking on the “Redeem Code” button.
The chances of winning depend on the total number of eligible Mail-in Entries that we receive. Prize cannot be transferred or substituted by Winner, but we reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value in our sole discretion.
9. Important Additional Terms and Limitations of Liability. Certain provisions of the terms referred to below may not apply to consumers residing in Quebec, solely to the extent they are inoperative with respect to consumers under the laws of Quebec. By entering the Contest, you agree to these rules, our Privacy Policy, and our Terms of Service. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, THIS CONTEST IS SUBJECT TO SECTIONS 9, 10, AND 12 OF PART I OF OUR TERMS OF SERVICE, WHICH LIMIT OUR LIABILITY AND REQUIRE THAT ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN US BE RESOLVED BY WAY OF ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT BY CLASS PROCEEDINGS OR OTHER COURT PROCESS. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THOSE TERMS APPLY TO THIS CONTEST. You also represent to SkipTheDishes that you meet the eligibility criteria set out in these rules. We reserve the right to disqualify any Consumer Entrant (including a Selected Consumer Entrant or Winners) and revoke their prize for fraud, submission of offensive or illegal content or any other content referred to in Part I, paragraph 6(d)(i), clauses 1 through 10 of our Terms of Service, or for otherwise violating these rules, our Terms of Service, or any other agreement between us and that Consumer Entrant. Automated Entries are prohibited, and we reserve the right to void them. For Quebec consumers, this Contest is governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. For all other persons, this Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. In the event of a discrepancy or ambiguity between the English and French versions of these rules that cannot be reconciled, the French version of these terms will prevail for Quebec consumers, and the English version of these rules will prevail for all other persons. We reserve the right to change, suspend, or cancel this Contest for any reason, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux where required.
10. Errors and Malfunctions. Neither SkipTheDishes nor any of our affiliates (collectively “Just Eat Takeaway.com” or “JET”) are responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any Internet connection, computer systems, networks, servers, software, hardware, or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, nor for any delays or disruptions or anything else that prevents us from receiving an Entry within the time period required by these rules. JET is not liable to any person for any loss whatsoever (including but not limited to any failure to receive a Prize) which results wholly or in part from any erroneous or misleading contact or identity information provided to us in a SkipTheDishes account or an Entry or from any purported transfer of or change made to a SkipTheDishes account. You must comply with our Terms of Service and take adequate precautions to preserve the security of your account at all times.
11. Quebec residents only. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
12. Third Party Release. This Contest is in no way conducted, sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with the NHL Entities or any social media service on which it may be promoted, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, or Snapchat. By entering this Contest, you completely release the NHL Entities, Facebook, Instagram, X, and Snap Inc. (solely if and to the extent that this Contest is promoted on such platforms) from all claims based on, relating to, or arising from this Contest and any other liability whatsoever in connection with this Contest. NHL, the NHL Shield and the word mark and image of the Stanley Cup are registered trademarks and the Stanley Cup Playoffs logo and Stanley Cup Final logo are trademarks of the National Hockey League.
