We've modernized food ordering to provide you the convenience, control, and accuracy of ordering online. No more pamphlets, paper menus, or repeating yourself on the phone.
You can now conveniently find the restaurants you want, place a pickup or delivery order online and send it electronically to the restaurant. You can pay with cash, credit card, bank card or debit card online.

Also, after you place an order with SkipTheDishes you will have the ability to review the restaurant and Food Courier experience under “Order History” in your SkipTheDishes account.
Placing an Order
Step 1: Choose a restaurant
Begin by entering your address on the homepage and press “Find Restaurants”. SkipTheDishes will display the restaurants that deliver to your location or are available nearby for pickup. You can also indicate what time you would like the food for and whether it is for pickup or delivery. From the available options, select the restaurant you would like.
Step 2: Place your order
Once you’ve selected your restaurant, it’s time to choose your food! Browse the restaurant’s menu and select your food and drink choices. Once you’ve finished adding your favourite meal items (and don’t forget the dessert), press on the “Checkout” button.
Step 3: Checkout
Confirm your order and pay online or with cash on pick-up/delivery. Your order is immediately sent to the restaurant and you will receive a confirmation email telling you the estimated time your food will be ready for pick-up/delivery.
For select restaurants, you can receive live order updates and real-time GPS tracking of your assigned Food Courier. Just click on the “Track Your Order” link provided in your confirmation email or through the Order History section of your SkipTheDishes Account.
After submitting your order, you will see the SkipTheDishes Thank You page. This means that your order has been instantly transmitted to the restaurant.
Once you receive an order confirmation email from us, the restaurant has received and confirmed your order.
Additionally, if the order was successfully placed it will appear in your Order History.

Occasionally a restaurant becomes too busy and cannot accept your order. If this happens, Skip will contact you as quickly as possible via phone or email. If you paid online with your credit/debit card and your order is rejected by the restaurant, you will automatically be refunded for the entire purchase. You should see a refund in your account within 5 to 7 business days.
You can always check the status of your order anytime by accessing your Order History.
It depends! Some restaurants have GPS tracking enabled - when searching for restaurants, look for “GPS Tracking” in the restaurant’s description. However, if a restaurant uses their own Food Couriers, you won’t have the ability to watch your Food Courier on a map.
Voucher codes can be applied to your food and beverage subtotal upon checkout. To use your voucher code, you will need to prepay for your order (credit / debit). Some voucher codes may also have certain conditions and expiration dates.
Yes - unfortunately you cannot use the voucher more than once. If your order is less than the voucher amount, the voucher will deduct up to the food and beverage subtotal from your order. The voucher does not apply to the delivery fee, taxes, and tip.
SkipTheDishes is not involved with food preparation and is not responsible for issues or allergies resulting from ordered food. All dishes may contain traces of allergens (i.e. wheat, gluten, milk, soya, peanuts, etc). Any dietary restrictions, allergies or intolerances must be clearly noted in the Special Instructions section for each item individually. You must also contact the restaurant to inform them of your allergy/food intolerance.

After Your Order is Confirmed
First, please check the Order Tracking page to confirm that your order was accepted by the restaurant. If the order has been accepted, you can view the live order updates on the Order Tracking page.
If the restaurant does not have GPS Tracking, they are using their own delivery service. If it is prior to the estimated delivery time, please allow the restaurant to continue preparing your food. If the estimated delivery time has passed, your food should be with you shortly.
If the restaurant has GPS Tracking, please monitor the Order Tracking page for updates on your order.
After the restaurant has confirmed your order, the best-matched Food Courier will soon be assigned to pick-up and drop-off your order. Our system takes into account the time it takes for the restaurant to prepare the food, so our system may wait to assign a Food Courier until the food is almost ready to be picked up. Not to worry, we’re busy behind the scenes to make sure your food is picked up and delivered to you!
You can confirm the details of the order you placed either by checking the order confirmation email that we sent you, or by viewing the order in your Order History.
The restaurant is responsible for preparing and packaging your food. If something is incorrect or you have feedback, please let us know and we will work with the restaurant to make things right. Send us an email at email@example.com or live chat with us with the details of your order and your order number and we’ll help you out!
The ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) uses live GPS tracking, so it updates in real time. Anything that causes a delay such as the busyness of the restaurant’s kitchen, traffic jams, poor weather, or a concert, etc. will cause the ETA to adjust accordingly.
Checkout, Pricing, and Payment
Each of our partner restaurants determine their own delivery fees and/or order minimum. This can be viewed for each restaurant on the Step 2, Choose a restaurant phase, or after you select a restaurant, it can be seen in the order summary box on the right-hand side of your screen. Alternatively, you can enter your address on the homepage and a list of available restaurants and their associated delivery fees will appear.
Your hard working independent Food Courier receives 100% of the delivery fee and tip provided. It’s truly up to you on how much you would like to tip.
Yes, SkipTheDishes employs all security standards and uses a leading North American payment provider, Moneris Solutions, to deliver secure and reliable payment solutions that make the customer experience convenient and dependable.
Managing Your Account
If you forgot your password, please click to reset my password to reset it. You will then need to provide your registered email address so that we can send you an email that allows you to reset your password.
Your username is simply your email address. If you do not have an account yet, click to create an account
All of your previous orders can be viewed by accessing your Order History in your user account folder.
