Deep 6 2025 Double Chocolate Cherry Sour Dark Ale (1 x 750mL)
(7.0% ABV) ABV: 7% | IBU 28 | SRM 36 AGED UNDER ICE FOR 6 MONTHS AT THE BOTTOM OF LAKE OF THE WOODS The upcoming 2025 Limited Edition Double Chocolate Cherry SourDark Ale, is currently aging 20 feet under the ice, at water temps ranging from 4 to 10 degrees Celsius for 6 months. Each bottle is hand numbered and is packaged in its own custom printed container. This rich chocolate cherry sour dark ale greets you with aromas of chocolate and maraschino cherries. The dominant chocolate flavour comes from generous amounts of organic cocoa added during both the boil and finishing stages—give the bottle a few gentle tilts before pouring to ensure the chocolate goodness stays suspended. Behind the chocolate, subtle maraschino cherry and almond flavours emerge from Italian cherries that have been fermented in their own juices, then mashed and macerated during secondary fermentation. A soft tartness lingers pleasantly, inviting another sip. Subtle notes of chocolate, nuts, and biscuit malt round out the profile. Dark brown in colour with a red hue, topped by an off-white head and featuring a full-bodied mouthfeel.
