Chateau Saint-Germain Bordeaux Superieur is an extra dry, medium full-bodied red. The nose shows a bouquet of cassis, blackberry, cedar and spice. The palate shows black currant, blackberry and spice flavours and fine, persistent tannins. Match this nuanced red with braised beef or roasted lamb dishes. 

Chateau Saint-Germain Bordeaux Superieur AOC (1 Bottle x 750 mL)

This well-made Bordeaux offers outstanding value. Aromas of bell pepper, cherry and savoury spice waft from the nose. The palate has red currant and spice flavours, with subtle herbal and vegetal notes. It is extra dry, medium-bodied and has soft, silky tannins. Try pairing this red with grilled burgers. 

Chateau De Courteillac Bordeaux AOC (1 Bottle x 750 mL)

This lighter more approachable style is ruby coloured with aromas of candied cherry, plum, cassis and a touch of cigar box. Soft, almost creamy blackberry flavours with a medium blackcurrant finish. Perfect with lambchops, shepherd's pie or steak. 

Chateau Haut Balastard Bordeaux (1 Bottle x 750 mL)

Le Grand Écuyer 2022 (1 Bottle x 750 mL)

A really delicious Bordeaux with lovely silky tannins that are well-integrated. Blackcurrant and orange peel with some stone undertones. It's friendly and delicious already. [This will drink through the mid-2030s.] Score - 92-93. (jamessuckling.com, April 19, 2023) 

Château Marjosse 2022 (1 Bottle x 750 mL)

This shows aromas of blackberries and raspberries with hints of dried orange peel and chocolate. Some spices, too. Medium-bodied, polished and smooth with a juicy character. Flavorful, polished finish. Drink or hold. Score - 90. (jamessuckling.com, Nov. 20, 2023)
